It was November 2 years ago and I was still getting to know my camera. I figured the best way to do it was to take shorter walks around my neighborhood and try different settings. During this walk I had decided to try out the flash but when I saw this scene I turned it off and tried to use the existing light, the lamppost.
This photo is far from perfect but that's one of the reasons why I like it. Although it may look like night time it was actually just late afternoon (which is dark in Sweden in November but not pitch dark). Something about the photo made me think of traveling circuses and the mystery surrounding them. The light from the lamppost drags you into the picture at the same time as the scattered chairs gives you a feeling of someone leaving in a hurry.
At least it does to me, what do you think?
